ABRA Quarterly Reports Due on January 30, 2012
Fourth Quarter Statement Filing for Restaurant and Hotel Licensees are Due on January 30, 2011.
DC Code § 25-113 requires that restaurant and hotels file a statement of expenditures and receipts of food and alcohol sales with the Alcohol Beverage & Regulation Administration (ABRA) Board within thirty (30) days after the end of each quarter. Licensees can now file their statements electronically using the following link:

A CR licensee (spirits/beer/wine) must have gross annual food sales of at least $2000 per occupant (based on the establishment’s Certificate of Occupancy) or make 45% of their sales from food.
A DR licensee (beer/wine) must have gross annual food sales of at least $1500 per occupant (based on the establishment’s Certificate of Occupancy) or make 45% of their sales from food.
A CH licensee (spirits/beer/wine) must have gross annual food sales of at least $2000 per occupant (based on the establishment’s Certificate of Occupancy) or make 45% of their sales from the operation of the dining room from food.
A DH licensee (beer/wine) must have gross annual food sales of at least $1500 per occupant (based on the establishment’s Certificate of Occupancy) or make 45% of their sales from the operation of the dining room from food.
Failure to submit timely quarterly statements is a violation which may lead to sanctions pursuant to D.C. Code § 25-823 (1) including fines as described in D.C. Code § 25-830.
